An at-home yoga flow to build confidence, awaken your inner fire, and make space for the woman you are becoming.

Sometimes, all we need is twenty minutes.

Between motherhood, work, relationships, responsibilities, and the million little things that fill our days, it’s easy to lose touch with our own energy. We spend so much time showing up for everyone else that we forget to check in with the person who needs us most: ourselves.

That’s where this practice comes in.

Welcome to Ground & Glow, a gentle yet empowering yoga flow inspired by the solar plexus chakra, the energetic center traditionally associated with personal power, confidence, determination, and self-trust.

This practice helps you slow down, move with intention, and reconnect with the part of you that already knows you are capable of more than your mind sometimes lets you believe.

You don’t need to be flexible. You don’t need to have a perfect morning routine. And you certainly don’t need to feel confident before you begin.

You need a little space, your breath, and a willingness to show up for yourself.

Your 20-Minute Practice at a Glance

  • Duration: 20 minutes

  • Focus: Solar plexus chakra, core awareness, gentle twists, and mindful movement

  • Energy: Grounding, warming, empowering, and restorative

  • Props: Yoga mat and an optional blanket or block

  • Best for: A morning reset, an afternoon energy shift, or an evening practice to reconnect with yourself

In this sequence, you build steadiness and confidence through movement and breath. Think of it as a moving meditation rather than a workout.

Why Focus on the Solar Plexus Chakra?

In traditional chakra systems, the solar plexus chakra, known in Sanskrit as Manipura, is associated with the fire element and themes of willpower, self-confidence, transformation, and personal agency.

Its symbolism invites us to explore questions like:

  • Where am I giving away my power?

  • What would it look like to trust myself a little more?

  • Am I making choices that reflect who I am becoming?

  • Where in my life am I ready to take up a little more space?

For me, this is where yoga becomes so much more than what we do on the mat.

It becomes a way to listen to ourselves, noticing our patterns, and making room for a different response. A twist becomes an opportunity to explore our range of motion. A strong standing pose becomes a moment to practice steadiness. A deep breath becomes a reminder we can pause before moving forward.

You don’t have to believe in chakras to enjoy this practice. Let your own experience guide you.

Take Your Practice Off the Mat

Before you move on with your day, give yourself one more minute.

Ask yourself:

  • What did I notice about myself during this practice?

  • Where could I use a little more self-trust today?

  • What is one small action I can take that aligns with the person I want to become?

You don’t need to change your entire life in one afternoon. You don’t need to have everything figured out.

Sometimes, personal growth looks like setting a boundary. Sometimes it looks like asking for help, taking a real break, speaking up, or following through on something that matters to you.

And sometimes, it looks like rolling out your mat when your mind is telling you you don’t have time.

Let your practice be a starting point, not another item on your to-do list.

A Little Reminder From Me to You

One thing I continue learning through my own yoga journey is that growth isn’t always a straight line.

There are days I feel connected, confident, and excited about the life I’m creating. And days when my mind tries to convince me that I’m behind, that I should be doing more, or that what I’m doing isn’t enough.

I’m learning to recognize those moments without allowing them to define me.

Yoga gives me a place to pause, breathe, and remember that I don’t have to earn my worth through productivity. I can be a work in progress and still be proud of where I am. I can want more for my life while appreciating the life I already have.

And I can keep becoming without abandoning the person I am today.

That is the kind of practice I want to share with you: one that meets you where you are, honors your individual experience, and reminds you that wellness isn’t about becoming a perfect version of yourself.

It’s about building a relationship with yourself that feels a little more honest, compassionate, and connected.

So take what you need from this practice. Leave what you don’t. Come back whenever you need a reminder of your own inner fire.

You are allowed to begin again.

With love and light,
